2005 NITRO INVITATIONALS
"Just what is the Nitro Invitational and how do I get invited ?"
is the question I hear
all the time. The Race series was developed by a group of RC racers that wanted
to
bring the excitement of a National Event locally and give racers across the
state of
Texas a chance to meet and compete with each other. Five different tracks were
picked
and races were scheduled with time allowed between them so guys could
save up some
travel'n money. Thats the story and I'm stickin to it.
Do you race Off-road Nitro?? Then you are invited to attend one or all five
of the events.
Two days of extreme racing action, Three qualifiers on Saturdays, followed by
a bbq
provided by the host group, come Sunday morning you have one more chance to
improve
how you qualified and then its the Main Events. Maybe your new to RC Nitro racing,
thats ok, because there is a Sportsman Class in both the Gas Truck and 8th Scale
Buggy
or run with the Big Boys and sign up for the Expert Class. This year we added
the Monster
Truck class too!
So come on out and have fun at the 5th Annual 2005 NITRO INVITATIONALS.

1>Monster truck racing will now have a Standard and Unlimited Class.
2>There will be a point series associtated with the Invitational, are you
fast enough to win
the title 'Texas State Champion' ?
3>Vote for your favorite host track at the end of the year.

| Best 4 out of 5 Point Series Race >Toss out your bad race >You get points based on how you finish. 100 for first, 99 for second, 98 for third.... ect. > You get Qualifying Points. If there are 35 racers in your class, you get 35 points for TQ, 34 for second qualifier, 33 for third....ect. > You get 5 bonus points if you win the A-main >You get 5 bonus points if you bump up a main. |
